    squeaky strut mount?

So had the car up on one side to change the passenger side hub assembly. after putting it down, I noticed a squeak when turning the wheel to the left. My uncle suggested the strut bearing is worn. He popped of the cap and soaked the mount with wd40. After about a day, the squeak went away. A week goes by, the squeak returns, only when parked or moving around 40mph and under. Should I replace the front strut mounts or suspect another problem?

Replace the strut mounts. You could remove them and re-pack them with grease, but if the bearings have been run dry for a while there is probably a good bit of wear.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
