    Help: Highspeed shake

Hey guys, I recently completed my suspension overhaul mainly consisting of bilstein and h&r sports and a set of m3 cabs. The issue is when I reach 80mph I start to feel a slight shake in the steering wheel and ofcourse the faster I go the worse it gets. I aligned my car right after I completed the suspension and my teacher was concerned with the amout of caster the car had (+8-8.5 degrees), and I'm curious to see if this was the root of the issue

Hmm, well if any one can provide me with any information I will be highly appreiative

    Thanks in advance :D

More caster is going to give you stability at high speeds.

Sounds like a wheel is out of balance. Or your balljoints are worn.

Might be the wheel, since I just replaced the control arms/tierods...but why would it show up at such a highspeed?

Wheel shake usually isn't noticeable until high speeds.

          Cool thanks.
Also you wouldn't happen to know if you can adjust the caster or not, would you?

Only by changing your control arm bushings or adding adjustable caster plates.

hmm, yeah because I put in m3 cabs and one side is more positive than the other,
and that would also make the car drift to one side...

Are they positioned the same? Something is bent otherwise.

I have to check, hopefully this doesn't end up being a pain in the ass...

                  Thanks for the help though.
