Front Camber Issues with 5 Lug

Bought the car with 325is/318ti 5 Lug. Car had positive camber WITH fixed IE camber plates. Switched to adjustable (cosmo smh) plates and all full "negative" camber I still have a smidge of positive camber. Im not sure if this is a normal issue with 5 Lug or if the PO used the wrong parts. Im not used to hearing people using 325is stuff so thats why Im curious.

Yes car is on ground control coilover conversion with 325is bilstein sports, adjuster all the way down. I cant imagine the camber plates being on wrong, theres only one way to put them on it seemed.

As for an alignment how would they get anymore camber out of em? There set to their max.

Ill try to get some when I get home. I also stupidly blew away my new front tires in a month driving like this plus having a stupid amount of toe in. Bought the car with bald snow tires that the PO just said he needed wheels/tires to sell it no, Didnt think twice that the alignment was that terrible.

Im 99% sure the plates are on right.

Does toe change with ride height? Im raised up my coilovers and was gonna take it to the local shop to get it done but then I had the strong feelings the toe would be off once I lowered it back down.

But back to the original questions? Do stock e36 struts lend themselves to more positive camber then e30 struts, or was something installed wrong?

Also will stock e30 camber plates fit e36 struts, or do you need to use e36 camber plates? Because with my e30 cosmo plates I had to makes a "spacer" out of some drilled out washed to keep the coilover spring plates from pushing against the bottom of the camber plate.

                Thanks guys.
