      My front looks like this... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/IMG_0245.jpg It has the blue shock thinghy... Does that mean its bilsteins?

            Lift the blue rubber to expose the shaft and take a pic.

              Lift the dust protection rubber and take a look at the strut shaft. If it looks like the one to the left in the picture, you got bilstein struts. The one to the right is a "standard" strut.


              since you got the blue dust cover without bump stop, I guess that you got bilstein.

                    A bump stop is a foam "bushing" that prevents the strut from compress all the way to the bottom (if it hits bottom, it will be damaged). Normal struts will have the bump stop on the outside of the strut shaft while bilstein has the bump stops integrated in the strut housing.
