    ground control coilovers.

I have an 88 325i. I ordered ground control for it. Not the shock and coilovers just coilovers. I jacked it up the other day and let it down slow and the white piece that holds the coilover in place broke. Will ground control replace it for free?

Probably not. When you jack the car up, the springs separate and you have to make sure they are seated properly before putting the car back down. If they aren't seated, they will crack no matter how slowly you lower it down.

I'm kind of impressed you broke it -- I've had those white cups support the weight of the car like 15 times when they don't seat properly.

Maybe you should call the company that sent you the piece. Stupid.

Call GC. I had one break on my car and my local GC dealer replaced it for me. When I broke another one I just made new ones out of aluminum.

I have an extra white spring holder thing that the PO needs, as well as an extra rear GC spring and the gold adjuster, all found and taken from the junkyard.

                      Good condition too.
