want to help me build a good, compliant, race biased setup?

I have a 1987 325is with everything stock right now. im looking at building a competent suspension setup that would be suitable for high speed cornering (racing application) but it will also be driven on the street, i dont care much about ride comfort, i just want to go faster.
I know tires have alot to do with grip but im just talking suspension components.

I need specifics, such as Bushings? sway bars? springs? shocks? strut brace? toe in/ out? camber? castor? (and anything else you can think of)

I used to race 100cc racing karts and i want my car to be like a kart!

Karts don't have suspension so just drop the car onto the bumpstops and call it job done.:)

Totally joking of course, tough to give exact specs with so little known. You know that tires have alot to do with grip but really to truly make an informed descion on spring/bar rates you need to pick what tires to set up for.Suspension for true street tires will be too soft for R-comps and suspension for r-comps will be too stiff for streets.
Alignment is also dependent on the roll stiffness and therefor tires. You see the catch22 situation.

Lol, i actually considered going with bump stops but i dont think my fillings would stay in my teeth

okay, so lets say i want an intermediate set-up. Mild stickies with performance biased suspension?
Im thinking coil overs and medium stiffness sway bars with poly-urethane bushings everywhere.

what would be your ideal setup for a track biased suspension with moderately sticky tires?!

Tree coil overs with springs rates around 680/1026, 22/19mm sways, and double adjustable shocks would be my ideal race suspension. The handling on track would be great, but it would be punishing on the street.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I think today's extreme performance tires are really sticky and can definitely work the ever popular H&R Race / Bilstein Sport combination to the maximum they should really be worked.

I run R888s on my autocross car and I find that H&R Races aren't particularly good for slaloms, as I have to time the pitching of the car to coordinate grip and turning in. I just want a little more spring rate.

I ran the Turner J-stock progressive springs on my other car and I loved the compression damping being reasonably well matched to the spring rate. It is marginally streetable, but not completely unacceptable on most decent roads. It has a maximum rate of 680/1026 but I think that's only when the springs approach coil bind. Otherwise they have an initial spring rate that's way softer than straight rate coilover springs.
