V-MAXX Coilovers vs. GC Conversion Kit

Im looking to lower my car and I came across the vmaxx coilover kit. Have any of you used these, do they go low? How easy is the installation? Any problems? Also how much would shipping from the UK be to the states?

I was also considering the GC conversion kit. Does this kit go low? I was also reading that you have to shorten struts and a few other modifications to the set up. Is this true? Also what would be a good spring rate for a daily?(Located in PA, the roads suck) If you could post a write up of installation it would be great thanks.

Any pics of either setup would be great as well as some installation problems. Or if you know any other bolt on setup for like 800 bucks or less that is adjustable and go low let me know.

    Thanks and let me know

This topic is covered to death, just search it.
Most people run GC's and yes you have to do some modifications to the strut if you do it yourself, although you can send your struts to GC for the shortening.

I searched the forums and couldnt find a complete write up about the kit and I got varying answers about shortening. If you order their struts will they shorten them also?

And is there anybody out there with any experience with the vmaxx coilovers. I know a lot of vw people have them but the e30 kit is not sold in the us, and I think shipping would be expensive overseas.

Any info on the vmaxx kit is greatly appreciated as well as any pics of GC conversion kit all the way down.

      Thanks
