    Anyone recognize this rear sway?

Came from my iX I'm parting out- I was intending to stick it on my 318is but it doesn't clear the diff bracket on the body. I can't figure out why it came off the iX without a hitch, the rear suspension setup isn't any different...what am I missing? I drove the iX for the past few years with this on it with no strange noises or anything.

It's pretty big, I don't have a caliper but I measured it to be roughly 19mm. There look to be some part numbers on it, but I can't make them out- I couldn't find anything on realoem with the numbers I could salvage. Stock sway links fit on it.

It may be from a touring, but I think the touring only had a different front sway bar. I believe that any E30 rear bar should fit any E30.

That's what I thought too. It's definitely a different shape than any other e30 bar I've seen. Usually there isn't that bend on the left and the whole bar is angled at each end to clear the diff bracket.

Maybe, but not quite...the Z3m bar has the raised area on both sides of the bar. It does look like the diameter is correct for Z3m bar though, 19mm.

Tourings have the same sways than regular e30s at least mine does.
