    koni internal adjustment not engaging?

I just recieved some new koni internally adjustable shocks for the rear of my 318, but i can't figure out how to adjust them...

I've done my research, read the online koni instructions (the supplied ones sucked) but I can't feel the "adjuster mechanism engage" while slowler turning the shock to the left bottomed out.

what could i possibly be doing wrong on such a simple procedure?!

Are you sure that you are fully compressing the shock?
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Did you remove the bumpstop under the dust shield?

There is two things you have to take out for the shock to fully compress. First get an ice pick or something to put into the two holes on the top of the shock , and start to expand the shock while having something pushing the black bump stop down. Then there is a white plastic ring and a black bump stop that you need to take out. After you took those out you can compress the shock 100%. Finally your able to adjust the shock, you will hear i click or feel a little drag once you start turning the shock.

I removed the white ring but when the shock is fully extended I don't see a bump stop? is that why i need to stick something in the holes? to wedge it out?

Yes, you need to compress the shock, then pull the shock open, while you have an ice pick or something keeping the bump stop down, you might be able to wedge it down.
