    Bilstein front shock question

I just installed bilstein sport front shocks and theres a small gap between the strut housing and lockdown nut, is this small gap normal? Thanks!

You mean the gold lockdown cylinder thing with the outside threads and huge hex?
If you see a couple threads, its fine. The shock itself has to be tight though, no play at all.
