removing the controlarm and tierod from the strut housing

Whats the best way to go about doing this without busting the balljoints on the tierods and controlarms. I dont have a tierod puller, so any help would be great. Ill probably end up getting a tierod puller if i cant get them off today, Any advice is awsome..... howd you do it????

Here you go man, I had recently been looking for info on this as well...

I bought the puller that Bav Auto sells, and they thing won't fit over the ball joints. It bumps into the control arm and the tie rod no matter how I orient it. Waste of $40. But I'm sure there's another one out there that will actually work.

thanks, that worked great. Got them out pretty quickly. After taking them out i find that 3 of the 4 ball joints are ripped. both control arms and one tierod. Are there just balljoint replacments or do i have to order a whole new control arm and tierod?

            found it

Whats the difference between the single 2 and 4. makes no sense. a single is 3.95 and for 2 its 10.95. Is there a difference other than just 1 or 2 boots?

Also, do these covers replace the old worn ones? or do they go over the old ripped ones?....

They replace the old ones. I am currently 6 months into testing these out. They will not stay on until compressed, so you have to work them on as you tighten up the rod end. So far, they are untorn and aren't letting any grease by.
