    Broken h&r?

I got a buddy who somehow managed to snap an h&r spring on his e30. No clue how but it is very clearly broken. He didn't cut the springs or anything and was wondering if even without the receipt can he have them sent back for a new one?

    Call and ask.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Good place to start. Make sure you have a picture ready.

As a guy often on the other end of these kinds of things, the more straight forward info you have ready the better. Pictures of the break, especially a close up goes a long way. A spring brake ( da dum cha) rarely happens of it's own accord.

Got it all taken care of. A phone call and some pix is all they asked for and then send it back

Are they replacing the set, or just the broken spring?
