Is there a thread where the E30 suspension is discussed in detail? Perhaps with some reference to effects on geometry with lowering - positive or negative?

Learning about how roll centers will help you understand how lowering a car can cause more body roll and require stiffer springs/sways to counteract it. I have tons of suspension calculations in an Excel spreadsheet that is still in the works (such as tracking and plotting the camber change with different setups) so feel free to PM me if you are into that sort of thing.

Thanks to all. Those two links look like they will help me better understand the E30 suspension. I already have a basic understanding of suspension theory from playing with watercooled VW's - but the E30 is in many ways a different beast.

If anyone else pops in here and has more info or other links I'm all ears (eyes?).
