Sway bar X control arms?

Just noticed today, the IE 25mm sway bar is slightly touching the edge of the control arm. Seems if I took out the silver reinforcement plates, the bar would be those 2 or 3 mm higher.
Since I have poly cabs, there's not much room for "things to sort themselves".
Anyone experience this?

Noone? I'm considering taking the plates out, not sure thats the best idea though.
