Stock shocks in rear, Billies Sport in the front: OK?

Hey all,
I am thinking of running M3 springs and Billie sports in the front and stock shock/springs in the rear of my 91 325i vert. Can I do that with no problem or I must have the same shocks in the front and rear?

Ideally you'd want front & rear to be the same. But it will be ok as many do this and buy F&R in stages.

Transitionally, the car will, according to theory, transitionally understeer more until you have matching rear shocks, but otherwise it will be okay.

yes, but this is with the assumption that the front are stiffer. (yes they are in this case)

Honestly you don't really need Bilstein Sports in the front, go with Bilstein touring or KYB. (something cheaper)

I already bought the front billie sports. Used, great condition, $150 for both (shipped to Hawaii). I think I got a good deal.

This will definitely be the case. As soon as I replaced the rear stock shocks with something much firmer the rear of the car followed through way better (I upgraded the fronts first). I noticed a big difference in initiating drifts also.

What do you mean by that? Are the Billie Sports rebuildable? If so, I did not know that :)
