    Need suspension help

I went to go loosen the tie rod and it broke loose. It reached the top and it wont come off. The stud is loose with it and now it wont tighten or come off. What should I do?

Also, going around 30-45 mph you hear a weird noise coming from the suspension. What is wrong with that?

I put on euroweaves and they started to rub. I put a cheap pep boys spacer and there was still a rub going straight and turning right, when I turned left it didn't rub.

Edit: When i went to loosen the 19mm but for the shock it turns but it wont break loose. I tried an impact and it still wont break loose. The shock wont move, but the bolt still wont break loose.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Put a jack under the tie rod and apply pressure to lock the stud into the socket. For the strut nuts, reach through the spring and grab the shock shaft with vice grips (or a pipe wrench for Bilstien Sports) and hit the nut with an impact wrench.

I suspect your "euroweaves" are IX wheels, which have the wrong offset.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Ill try the tie rod. As for the strut, i have already done that. I locked the shock so it wont move. Then I used the impact and the bolt moves in one place, i doesn't go up or down.

My euroweaves are IX weaves. What can i do to run those?

If the bolt spins while the shock shaft doesn't, the threads are stripped. The solution then is to compress the spring and use a flame wrench to cut the shock shaft.

The fix for the ix weaves is to sell them to some unsuspecting soul and get wheels with the correct offset.

run 15mm spacers to correct the offset, works fine - or sell them to me.

I would need exteded lug bolts then. I would sell them to you, but they arent mine, they are my brother that would let me borrow them.

Either your strut is stripped or your socket is stripped. I always loosen top nut to the strut when the car is on the ground under load. That will usually get it done. If not there is the spark plug socket trick. You have to look around though cause not all sockets will work. You need to get one with the whole that is large enough to get a 1/4" extension through to attach a socket to the strut. Then put a crescent wrench on the sparkplug socket to un do the nut. By having a socket and a wrench on the actuat strut and having the spark plug socket on the nut you can loosen it up with out spinning the entire shaft. Also no scratching the strut from vise grip.

Yes, both are deep sockets to reach through the strut mount bearing.
