    front-end tidying

hi all, I'm sure ya'll have seen how slammed my eta is - I'm looking to tidy it up a little bit though - what spring pads are available besides the 3mm stock ones? 6mm isn't much of a height increase, is there much a difference in ride quality? What about bump stops? What strut / bumpstop combo is ideal? I noticed that the bumpstops don't fit over my cheapo munroe strut inserts, I can probably drill them out but I want to give myself some ride quality and maybe raise the front end a bit.

And if you haven't seen how low e90 drop hats and SPAX springs are:

Honestly, you're probably already riding on your bumpstops. Most strut inserts have internal bumpstops so you don't even know you're on them. You think its a firm ride when really you have zero strut travel.

Bilstein sports will do the trick. Bumpstops really won't help you in this situation even with bilsteins. You need to take the drop hats out. Once you do that, you will have another like 15mm of travel. That's enough to raise you off of bumpstops. I realize that bilstein sports are more for one insert than for two or more of the Monroe struts. But seriously, you shouldn't have lowered your car on stock replacement shocks. Those shocks hardly perform at a stock ride height
