pulling the cup kit off my car, as well as the JT Design solid RSMs, one side pulled off the shock shaft, but left the metal sleeve on the shaft. that meant the unit was actually 4 seperate piece (sleeve, AL mount, 2 rubber pucks) instead of a solid unit. Not a big deal, I just shoved it back together, I doubt it would affect anything when installed, but it might be something to check on for folks with those mounts.
