z3 rack swap?

Ok my racks on its way out already and I can get a new rack for under 200. I'm wondering how difficult the swap can be on an airbag car from 1-10. And the fabricating the new firewall panel for the firewall. How would you rate it? Any tips? Or suggestions?

I understand that and have gone through that. A million times. Was wondering if I could get advice on. The airbag swap along with the plate mod. If you need to pull the whole steering column up and out of the vehicle to make the plate.
