Steering quibo part number confusion.

Need some help. Which one of these is the steering guibo/flex section?





Car is a 1990 325is with airbag. I think I can just buy number 2 in the second picture and make it a quick swap. But wtf is the first picture?

So what is the bottom diagram? realoem is showing both diagrams when I search for my car?

Edit - I am also looking to buy the entire assembly to make life easier and I also replace the u-joint at the same time.
