    Coils Touching?

Im installing my motor mounts& I was hearing a clunk as I jack up my car so I lowered it & took a look...

    H&R Sports/Billie Sport

Im 99% sure the coils shouldnt be that close to each other, can anyone confirm this?

My race springs sit like that. I believe it's due to the progressive rate.

Thanks, it just makes me uneasy, especially with the clunking noise I hear from my right rear

My coils touch as well, does concern me a tad, but it has not been an issue at all. Whatever works lol

A lot of times springs are made with soft sections so that with no load on them, they extend and don't fall out of the car. Kind of like helper springs on a coilover setup.

Problem found. Getting new mounts tomorrow, hopefully that'll solve the problem.

I was kinda hoping this was my excuse to order coils! Oh well..
