gland nut part number **UPDATED QUESTION**

does anyone have the part number for the gland nut for front bilstein sport shocks? I ordered a pair from turner and they are the wrong ones, seem to be too wide and the wrong thread pitch. The ones I received had the number B36-816 imprinted on them. I tried searching but no dice.

**see last post for new question**

Spoke to bilstein, they gave me the number B36-U242-C1, does that seem right?

If Bilstein told you that's the number I would take it at face value. Have you called BAV they stock em if Turner doesn't have them.

update: so the B36-816 is the correct part number according to bilstein, it is the right diameter for the shocks, but there is also another number stamped into the collar "A1" does the A refer to the thread pitch....from my limited research people are saying for the e30s, they say C1, so maybe that is a different thread pitch?
