M3 springs on an IX??

I want to stiffen my suspension with a mild drop in the front to even the arch gap a little. I thought I had seen somewhere someone was running M3 stock springs in their front end for a drop on their IX. Does anyone know if these will fit or what kind of drop could be expected? Also the IX is a lot heavier...how would that affect everything :( would be with bilstein hd's. Any help would be appreciated as i really dont want to go the H&R route

OEM M3 springs won't give you the drop you're looking for. Check out my 325 in my sig. Those are H&R Sport with Bilstein Sport shocks. I'm using the same setup on my M3 and it doesn't sit as low as the 325. A great combo for the $$.
