    Christmas in September!

Came home to find my HD's had been delivered! Now I'm waiting for my IE stage 3's.

Bilstein HD shocks + IE Stage 3 springs = what the hell will happen to your handling?

Why'd you get HD's and not Sports?

I read over and over again that this was a great Auto X setup up. What the problem with them?

the IE's might not match up well with the HDs; that compatibility is crucial for ride quality, handling characteristics, and shock life.

Searched the forum. So I need to return them for sports? No big deal.

I just read they have the same valving and rebound as sports. Has anyone ever tried them with the IE's?

are you sure you have Blistein HDs? Or are they Bilstein Sports? I can't tell from the boxes. I've read that HDs and Sports are valved similarly but HDs are longer so you can use stock springs (not sure about this). That being said, it should work, but he'll only be using a little bit of the shock travel.

Please link me to threads saying HD's go well with IE 3's

Yes they may be valed similarly [is that a word] but as said, the HD's are longer to use with a stock spring, or maybe an E30 M3 spring
