i will most likely not be returning the core, and cant decide which one to pull the trigger on as far as 2.7/2.8 steering racks

they both are the same rack in regards to lock to lock i believe, but 100 bucks is 100 bucks

am i missing anything, or any reason to go with one and not the other?

If your not returning a core than I would say rackdoctors, I would just call up your order to make sure you get a 2.7

Both 1.9s and 2.8s came with the good 2.7 turn linear rack, but some people have reported pulling racks from both 1.9s and 2.8s only to find that they are 3.2 turns (the M rack). So it's a gamble no matter how you put it. Call the vendor up and make sure you're getting the 2.7 turn rack.

heading to work, ill prolly shoot you an email tomorrow morning/afternoon.

on the returned core thing, and trying to keep initial costs as low as possible, steering rack swap wasnt calculated in my budget any time soon, and trying to keep wife aggro as low as possible...but i figure since im doing my front suspension within the next week i might as well knock out the rack while im under there
