Just remove the spring and run a really stiff shock, you will be so low all the girls will drop their panties!

ok so the german engineering GB is going on, should be really good stuff, custom spring rates for under 300.
ground control is known and VERY good quality, kinda like the standard. run about 450 for the conversion kit, or 1200 for kit and koni shocks, heavy heavy duty shocks.

you can do JOM if you are only lookingn for LOW, but i wouldn't run those, squishy i hear and bad shocks, but cheap, consider it ebay....or close to.

the springs are cheap. the shocks are where you want to spend money. people blow shocks ALL the time due to being too low. billy HD or sports, but the sports prolly wont last as long as the HD's, but will get good life, good for money.

Koni shocks are the BEST IMHO, but at 200 per shock, yeah, rather go billy HD at little more than half the cost.

so now spring rates. how low you want? lower you go stiffer you want.
coupe and verts are different keep that in mind.

            my set up:
            Ground control kit
            springs 750f 450r
i have a m50 in my car so higher spring rates to prevent bottoming out, and my adjusters are spun all the way down on front.
gonna be buying billy HD shocks soon, had new KYB shocks and they blew in under a month, lol it happens.

but remember, coilovers, not comfortable, well for the elderly. i like it.

AST 4100, but if you're asking this question in the general discussion forum without any clue which brands are available, you don't need coilovers.

              /thread.

n.b. I've had AST4100, TCK DA (koni), and Billy HD/Eibach on my various cars, E30 and not. AST wins by a mile.
