Got H&R races or IE3s? Tell me about em

    Are they pretty street able?
I'm worried about my oil pan
Also, what's the difference between them?

I don't want reverse take so I'm planning on runnnning all my spring pads in the rear

    Same rates (315/570)
H&R is H&R, IE is made by Eibach.
    Spec E30's use them.
Most popular combination for E30's paired with Bilstein Sports or Koni yellows.
Street able is opinionated (Stock is 106/245)
IE3's sit a tad higher than H&R races.

H&R's have a forward rake and IE's sit more level.

I would say H&R for late cars and IE for early cars. the late cars have those low rear arches that IE's make look like reverse rake.

My IE3s do give my late model a slight reverse rake. I'm going to cut a coil on my front springs or put in some drophats to bring my front end down a bit.

Other than that the IE3's and Bilsteins are great. Very streetable and not too harsh of a ride. They're a great performance spring.

I used the E90 drop hats with my IE's and that helped with the rake considerably.

Do you have a part number for the E90 DH?

I have H&R race ob my 318i touring, don't mind the ride as I've driven much stiffer and lower cars. The drop is really nice, but I'm not completely satisfied with the front fitment with my 15mm drop hats. I'm sure a 6 cylinder car would sit lower, or chopping off 1 or 1/2 a coil would suffice. I'm sure my car also sitls lower in the rear because of the added weight of the rear of the roof/hatch.
