can hd shocks bottom out with GC coilovers?

so im looking around at options and the coilover conversion from ground control looks pretty good.

what im wondering is, can E30's with bilstein sport or bilstein HD's and the ground control coilover conversion hit the bump stops or bottom the shocks out?
do u guys running this set up have problems or are the springs stiff enough to handle that

id rather not hear response saying i should get coilovers or why u wouldnt run hd shocks. its what im doing for now. unfortunately.lol
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.

Anything can bottom out. It depends on the spring rates and whether or not you cut your strut tubes.

Bilstein HD's are standard length struts, just with heavier valving, correct? If so, you will be bottoming them out a lot.

Sports should be fine, but once again, it depends on spring rate, etc. I think most guys run either Sports or Koni's with GC's. If you shorten your strut tubes though, you will be much less likely to bottom out, given the same height.

Interesting. Im lookin for someone who has possibly run the set up. Ive felt it and it looks okay with hard enough springs.and my springs should be pretty stiff.
