    spring pad removal

I'm just wondering how many of you guys actually removed your top and bottom spring pads to achieve a lower ride?
What I want to know is since there aren't any rubber pads, is it going to be loud or am I gonna hear any grinding (metal to metal contact)?
I just got Jom's and I wanna get as low as possible, but I don't want loud metal grinding while going over bumps.

It's won't drop that much. It's less then 1/4" IIRC.
