Just recently installed some camber plates with some IE3 springs, the springs are seated correctly so i think , i checked each side 3 times , and i hear clunking when i do turns. I got the IE Street/Track camber plates. Any Ideas? Is this normal ?

Robert, did you try calling IE, they have the diagram showing the proper orientation.
Biggest issue I see happen is when the installer leaves out the Compliance spacer (goes below the bearing on the strut shaft) which does not allow for full articulation of the plate in relation to the rest of the strut setup. In short in will bind in the corners because as the strut turns it binds against the stationary plate (seeing as its bolted to the strut tower).
Good way to check for enough clearance is when you have the strut assembly on the work bench (with the spring off) you should be able to put your hand on the camber plate and swivel it around.Comment

Ive actually made them thicker, end plates longer, So there for stronger and better.
No different than them (you) making a front strut bar copy of sparco. Well other than not improving anything on the design.
Ive used IE plates on two different cars in the past and had problems with them. So just speaking from experience.
Lets stay on topic here. This thread is about camber plates, not strut bars.Comment
