    need bushing advice

I recently installed H&R races w billy sports, changed my CAB to m3 offset, I like this setup alot. 99% street use

I want to do my subframe and TA bushings and im pretty sure im going w urethane I need help deciding on firmness and make im thinking IE or AKG?

The TABs will be 75D (I think this is the hardest?) or whatever the hardest is as I cant really see these affecting comfort.

Subframe? can you recommend a good street hardness and brand? Do the subframe bushings really transfer that much vibration/bumps?
My thinking is that harder sfbs would force the springs to absorb more shock causing them to do their job more efficiently if that makes sense
also, wear is a consideration as I dont want to replace/buy/install these again

    thanks

      ADVICE:
If your car is 99% street use, just use OEM rubber. I'm not sure what the price difference is between urethane and rubber bushings though. IF the urethane stuff is cheaper, I would personally go with AKG bushings and use the softest material (90A??) for a 99% street use car. I've read around the forums before and some people have reported problems in the past with IE urethane engine mounts or something along those lines, but I'm sure this issue has since been addressed.

IMHO, There's no point in having a hardcore setup if you are using it 99% on the street. Go with polyurethane if it is cheaper

New OEM rubber is a lot stiffer than you think.

I agree, if this is primarily a street car the OE bushings will be the best choice. On a pure track car I use the hardest AKG trailing arm bushings and aluminum subframe bushings.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I use IE street subframe bushings and their trailing arm bushings. Car is mostly street driven for now. No complaints.

whats the maintenance interval for the oem ones?

oh forgot to mention i believe the aftermarket bushings are easier to install...if I could get away not using a press id be in heaven

The OEM ones will be fine for 80k. The urethane ones wear just as fast, especially the TABs.

How are you going to get them out w/o a press? A shop will usually press them in and out quickly/cheaply.

its complicated, we are doing 4 subframes w a spare core. rebuild the core drop old swap in new rebuild old and so on.
