    coilover I.D please

    does anyyone know what brand my coilovers are? i was told GC from owner before me. they have no name brand on them nor spring rates.. the spring is red. with black strut. and sliver Threads! also are these ccoilovers maxed out or can i go lower? if needed how do i remove that cream/white spacer?

        Dude, they are the cheapest of the cheap. And to answer your other questions...those are stock housings just with the original perch cut/ground off and yes they are maxed out.

          Sorry, those are not GC coilovers. This happens all the time, and as a guy who works at GC, it really sux when people complain on forums about their GC stuff and its not even GC.

          I bet twice a day, or more, I get a nasty email about a problem that was never a GC kit.

          I know you are not complaining, and I really appreciate that. After looking at your pic, I can see you need to install a bumpstop, and you can use math to figure out the spring rate pretty darn accurately.

            haha. im new too coilovers. never had them on any of my cars before. thank you. upgrading to GC soon then maybe tax time.

              Cosmo is right, I hope the PO wasn't trying to raise the selling price based on the car having "GC coilovers"

                ^ yeah that douchebag did! i paid 1000 for the car and its running great but if i would have known the coils were so cheap it would have been a deal breaker.
