    Don't know the drop specs but it won't be super slammed since the 318 is a lighter car.

    I do agree with getting a skid plate though.

    So you have the same suspension set up?

    well the streets I drive on are pretty crappy and potholes everywhere. hopefully Ill be as lucky as you.

    I can't speak on the m42 but i've never even scratched my oil pan on the m20 with that suspension even after 3 years of somewhat careless driving.

    I would highly recommend this (coming from someone who broke a pan with the skidplate). The skidplate is a no brainer with the m42 pan sitting so low, also with old motor mounts it may sit/rest on the skidplate which essentially transfers any impact to the pan.
    Most def. going to look into it.

    e28 m5 motor mounts will give you about 3/4 inch more breathing room from the pan to the plate.



    I would highly recommend this (coming from someone who broke a pan with the skidplate). The skidplate is a no brainer with the m42 pan sitting so low, also with old motor mounts it may sit/rest on the skidplate which essentially transfers any impact to the pan.

    Suspension Set ups?

    Well after selling my 240 i'm going to start working on my e30, first thing that I will take on is the suspension, wheel bearings and diff support. I was doing some research and came across the Turner Motorsports website and the "NASA Pro Racing Spec E30 Suspension Kit" you guys have any feedback on this? It seems pretty reasonable for that price. the E30 will be a DD, some might say it might be too much for a DD, but I wouldn't mind spending a lil extra cash. Let me know what you guys think about it.
