Suspension Set ups?

ah, i see. Gotta rethink wheels and tires. I've been trying to look for bushings, and i knew i had seen a group sell on this site but i can't seem to find it :/ -
Definitely. Staggered wheels are bad enough for handling but mixing up the tires makes it worse. You want a square set. The only reason i went staggered wheels with 215s all around is because my back end kicks out under boost.Leave a comment:

well the wheels I am looking at buying already come with some Falken 512 215/40R16
for the rear tires and Continentals 195/45R16 for the front. pretty respectable brands. Yeah gonna go ahead and add the bushing. If i remember correctly there was a group buy on a set of bushing. hmmm e30 gonna be riding smoothLeave a comment:

Good bushing. No point in having stiffer springs and shocks if your rear subframe and trailing arm bushings are mush. And i can't speak highly enough about the AKG tabs/vert front sway upgrade. If you have a welder you can accomplish it with new links for under $100. More then stiff enough for a car thats not going to see a lot of track time. And invest the money your saving in to a good set of tires. The best coilovers in the world won't help much if your running crap rubber.Leave a comment:

The only bad i've heard about BC is there customer service. That and people making the mistake of ordering their rear springs to long. If you can get a D2 kit for $450-500 i'd say jump on it. You can always buy new rear springs and sell the old ones. I have a few pair of 4.5" 650 springs that would work well as a substitute. Toss on a vert front sway bar and in stall the AKG m3 style sway bar link tabs. Drive it for a while to get a feel for it. I hated the rear sway bar for months. Took a while to get used to and installing the ST rear bar is a nightmare. Its about 1/2" to narrow and requires a lot of persuasion.
Well if i manage to get the hook up and get them for the low, I will get them. And might switch out the springs like you said, gonna give it a month or so to see how I really feel about them. and might pass on the rear sway bar. any order suspension mods you recommend doing/or not doing? by the way thanks for all your helpLeave a comment:

That was my old setup. I changed it cause i was tired of the wheel gap.
There is a group buy on those for $900.
They are very comfortable. Not a track oriented kit in any sense. I drove my buddies car and it felt great on the streets but would probably suck on an auto x course. The biggest problem is the rear springs are way to soft.
Hmm so the Turner package makes the e30 handle great..but too much wheel gap..D2's are a smooth ride and you can go really low..but not really for track use..So what about the BR's? are they a little more well balanced?Leave a comment:

From what I know, D2 coilovers are junk. I had KSports (rebadged, they were dirt cheap too) on my WRX and they were junk. Springs were too soft. Taiwanese or something made.Leave a comment:
