    GC coilover conversion kit question

So my car is currently sitting on vogtland springs, bilstein sport shocks and e90 drop hats and i want to go lower in the front as well as go with stiffer springs in the back since my car squats alot because of the S50 swap. I was wondering if the conversion kit will let me go lower in the front and also what kind of spring rates do you guys recommend?

If it involves cutting the struts and having shorter shocks then yes.

IIRC those GC kits are e30 struts that have been shortened. Also the shocks inserts are spaced to make up the extra space so potentially you can go ridiculously low, but the e34 oil pan is your limiting factor. Don't go too crazy or you'll do more harm than good. Rear sleeves will have more adjustment that you'll ever need.

What kind of riding will you be doing? If you're doing some track days, i would say 450f/600r# is very track oriented (my setup). May want to step it down 300/450 for street if you're that low since my ride is pretty uncomfortable on the street as is. IDK i'd start here. Its a lot of money to spend for looks though 0.o

Well I didn't really want to shorten the housing since its alot of custom work and I only wanted to go maybe 1/2 an inch lower in the front and this is my daily so I just don't want the rear to rub when I step on it since it rubs on the inside of the fender
