    Spring pads

My current set up is Bilstein Sports an H&R race springs.
I noticed that when I was installing the front springs I was able to easily move the spring around after I installed them on the struts. Is this okay?

Is there anything I can do to eliminate this without having to install something that would raise the front of the car? Maybe a set of spring pads?
Any help/suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

This is 100% normal, it's not an issue once the car is on the ground.

Thanks. And what are your opinions on cutting the dead coil on the front springs?

I've done it in the past, really not a huge fan though. It gives the spring less area to contact the hat/perch.
