    Suspension overhaul

Iwas having tires fitted to my car and the technician mentioned these items were bad

    Left Control arm - Shot
    Right Control arm -going
RH tie rod bad (recommend replacing both)
Sway bar end links need replacing
My car also rolls like a boat so I think i'm gonna do new springs/shocks while in there. (either h&r springs and Bilstein Sports or the H&R Touring cup kit)

Anything else I should get while in there?

I'm gonna prob order from Pelican Parts... Should I do the tie rod super kit or just save the $20+/- and just order the assemblies?

I just ordered a set of oem non offset ones. Not really sure what the advantage of the offset ones are

The odds are that you will need new boots and clamps. Not mentioned in the kit are the tie rod lock plates that you will also need. When changing springs and/or struts you may need new spring pads and upper strut bearings. I'd say that your parts (other than springs/shocks) list ought to be:

          Left and right control arms
          Control arm bushings
Tie rods, lock plates, boots, and clamps.
Sway bar end links and bushings
Upper strut mounts and maybe spring pads

The rear suspension is probably in about the same condition as the front and would suggest:

          Trailing arm bushings
          Subframe bushings
Sway bar end links and bushings
          Differential bushing
Upper shock mounts and possibly spring pads

The odds are good that the car also needs new motor & transmission mounts.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Anyone with some common sense and the ability to search r3v would be able to completely refresh the rear components easily.

To me, the hardest part was getting the subframe and trailing arms back on the car as one unit.

Oh, and +1 to steve at blunttech.com

You can look at my build thread at the bottom of my sig for pictures of the rear end. It is not difficult just time consuming. I could probably redo the front and back in 2-3 days now. The hardest part is the Sub-frame bushes. Most people cut them or burn them, or if you have press then it is no problem.

I got a BFH and a Big flat head screw driver and proceeded to smash the metal lip on the bush, I came out very slowly took maybe 20min each one. Blunttech is differently the place to get your parts.

Oh and take into consideration as to how you will get the rear end out you can drop the whole thing in one peace and put it back in one peace. Though it took me 2.5 hours to get it back in it really requires two maybe 3 people and two car jacks to do it easily. If I was to do it again I would probably get the subframe and diff back in but not bolt down, then connect the trailing arms, and CV's.
