    Anybody on H&R RACE?

Would like to see pics and know how you have it set up. The reason is, I am installing my H&R race and want to know if I should run with or without spring pads up front. I want the front lower than what is in my sig pic (H&R sports). The race springs are substantially shorter than the sports uninstalled, but not sure how that translates once the car is back on the ground and the suspension settled. I also have the 10MM lowering cups for the front, but really not so sure I need them with the race springs.

Also, the rear is substantially lower than with the sports as well. Too low imo. So I am thinking of putting additional spring pads in the rear to raise it up a bit, but not sure how many or what thickness.

Anybody have any information here or suggestions?

My suggestion - lose the cups up front and use normal spring pads. The idea of adding pads in the back is not a bad one. I haven;t done it, but thought about that myself.

What do you mean lose the cups Dave? I HAVE to use the cups, right? Please clarify.

Yeah, I got them before we did our little trade. I was going to try them out on the sport springs, but with the difference in spring heights I don't think I will need them. As for the pads, you don't think I should leave them off the front?

Are the race really that low in the front?

No they aren't that bad up front. I have the pads in on mine now.

Remember, cabby is heavier, so it sits a little lower. And it has deeper sills.
