    Best suspension for me?

I'll be getting my 325i very soon and the owner says it's going to need new struts cause they're getting tired. I've always had straight line speed cars and never anything that handled above-par, at least that I know of. The best handling car I've ever owned was an '87 Jetta coupe with what I believe is stock suspension. I've also had a '93 MR2 Turbo but I was scared to really push that car to it's limits for fear of the turbo spooling mid-turn.

This car is going to be my daily driver/weekend warrior. The thought of tracking it really appeals to me, and I'd love to take a couple driving courses at PIR. I want to do this right the first time, I don't want to have to go back and upgrade later on when I find the suspension doesn't perform well on the twisty roads or on the track. I'm not looking to kill people on the track, just have some fun, and it'd probably only be once or twice a summer cause I imagine it's probably pretty expensive.

It seems like most people here and on other boards are running Bilsteins and H&R springs. I've heard better things from a few people about Koni's and IE Stage 3's. I'm not sure what else I'd need to purchase to bring my suspension up to par. Like I said, this is my daily driver as well, but I am a very spirited driver just about everywhere I go. I'd like a 60/40 (maybe 70/30) ratio of performance and ride quality.

How much is it going to cost me to replace the suspension on this thing and what are your thoughts?

well as you know i just bought the IE3s springs and konis and yeah i'm really excited to see how they make my car handle, with that, you should definately take my tokicos for free=) I'll give you a ride and let you decide if IE3s are right for you, i know when i initially lowered my car i wanted something streetable, but now my driving style has changed and it felt like my suspension became sport luxury and pretty soon luxury=)
