e36 pwr steering high pressure hose question

Installing e36 rack on my 87 e30, I'm wondering if the e36 high pressure hose can be used on my ps pump. Instead of the hollow bolt used on my e30, it uses a male, threaded, compression type end going into the pump. It looks like it will fit, , but I'm not sure if pump will accept it without leaking. Anyone tried it?

IIRC you have to use the E30 line and bend the end that attaches to the rack.

wasn't deep enough, just bent the original.
