    IE stage 3 race springs?

    Curious about the IE stage 3 race springs...How are they on the street? Good stance?
    Now-> black '90 E30 spending too much time on jackstands..

    Many people run them, they're my favorite "regular" spring.

    Here's my car with them, it's also got GC plates in the front that give an extra 12mm drop...

      These are great. They're really comfortable on the street and have a nice drop.

        Paired mine with billsports, hood droP, great dd, happy with them.

        Same spring rates as hr race, so either will do.

        Drop hats are a must with these on a late mOdel, cut the dead coil for best results

          Thanks for the information and pics.

          I am running the Eibach progressive springs right now. They work perfectly but I am wanting a spring that is a bit stiffer and lower. Plus they have probably been in the car for 7 or 8 years. Wondering how much stiffer the stage 3 race springs are than the other eibach springs.
          Now-> black '90 E30 spending too much time on jackstands..

                I am looking into these springs as well. I just have a few questions if anyone could answer them that would be great.

                1- Do I need to modify the suspension or camber plates or purchase anything else other than the springs to use them with a stock '87 325iS?

                2- I am currently thinking about changing my stock basketweaves to something in the 15-16" range. Based on a 15" wheel what is the maximum size of tire do you think I could run with these springs without them rubbing?

                  You don't necessarily need camber plates but I would definitely pair them up with a set of billy sports or other sport shock. As for wheel/tire size, it completely depends on offset, width, fender rolling etc..

                    max tire size i've run with these is 225/45/16 all around

                    if you are running the car on the street, get camber plates and align to keep your tire wear minimal and even

                        Brought my front end down about 3/4", made a pretty noticeable visual difference, noticed no adverse effects in handling.

                              Eibach Prokit springs are known to be the worst E30 springs. They are way too soft!

                              Going from the Eibach to the IE3 is definitely a night and day difference.
