    Need a hand with this...

Soooo I decided to remove my rear shocks, having one blow the other cant be far behind. I got the first one off no problem. Then I got to the second one and I went to remove the mount. When suddenly...

Little bastard stripped on one side! Now I can't fit the socket wrench over to try and avoid further stripping. What should I do from here? Little fucker is still stuck.

Couple more quick questions, I can't manage to get the mount off the first one...

    suggestions?
Aaaand is it cool to leave my trailing arms dangling until I get the rebuilt suspension back? Or is that gonna mess something up if they're left like that?

And finally the guy I bought the setup from told me I bought bilstein sport shocks... Considering they came off of his ridiculously sorted e30 I kinda just took his word for it. Buuut I searched the little "f4-b36-2027-ho" and I was getting bilstein heavy duty or whatever... Anyway help me out? I really want to get them in the mail tomorrow because I can't be out of a car for much more than a week :?

vice grips and a wrench to get the mount off the shock

i have some good akg rsm's if you need :)

or look at the bottom of the RSM, i think the bolts can be drilled out and something put in there. not ideal but it would work

I feel like there has to be a way to get that little fucker off though. The others came off no problem. I can't figure it out :/

Sooo now I have a week to figure this out... Can't figure out why this bolt wont move. They've been on for less than a year and have 0 rust. :hitler:

cut the nut off, split it in half then run a die over the threads on the stud.

go buy a dremell, 30 bucks, you will need it in the future for sure.

sounds like you need tools you dont have.
vise grips and a bench vice would probably spin it free.
