Camber plates that will lower the front end

I'm looking for something to counter act the slight reverse rake of the IE stage 3 springs. Aside from super thin spring pads I've been considering camber plates and/or drop hats. The GC touring plates apparently allow the front to sit a 12-15mm lower but they cost $300! Any cheaper options out there? I'm not looking to adjust the camber on the regular.

Although I've considered them, I'm not totally sold on e90 drophats....seems like some guys are having issues with springs bottoming out and popping noises etc. The fact that they're flat vs the angled e30 ones is also a bit of a concern to me.

Is there a drop hat solution that's guaranteed not to cause any issues with IE springs?

The only problems I had with e90 hats is with camber plates. A shorter stack camber plate will have more pops and squeaks then a drop hat can make.

Thanks for the input fellas. I suppose I might try the drop hats...I'd love the GC plates but can't really justify the cost as I don't really need them at all...

Im running Bilstien Sports with IE stg3 springs with e90 drop hats, absolutely no idea what people are on about with these popping noises and im yet to hit my (currently un-trimmed) bump stops...

That is with top and bottom pads in the rear, top pad only in the front... A bit hard to see from that angle but if you look at the car from side on (apart from the obvious late e30 fender height difference) there is a small amount of rake.

If you have camber plates its a problem. Also some people forget or loose the washers.

Thanks for the info. This pretty much exactly what I'd like to do and I welcome that information! Now it's just a matter of finding a good price on some IE springs. I actually really like the jstocks I'm currently running on the car but they're just unnecessarily stiff for the crappy roads up here in Calgary.
