    Sway bar question

H&R race springs are much shorter than the H&R sports I previously had.

question: I don't know enough about suspension geometry to know, but would I need to adjust my sway bars since the Race springs are much shorter? That is, would the shorter springs release the tension that was on the sways by the sports? The back especially feels a bit loose, most notably at higher speeds. Anybody have any idea?

how so would you adjust your bar? I believe aslong as both endlinks are the same length, you wont have any pre-load on the bar. Its when the links are different lengths then you get into pre-loading of the bar. I know that the bar is more effective or something like that if you can get it level, but as far as preloading on the bar, it shouldnt be by just lowering the car.

Bimmer8604 is correct that lowering the car won't have any effect so long as it was lowered evenly side to side. However, you may want to adjust your swaybars to fit the new spring rates better.
