Quick questions about Rear MR2 inserts.

I'm looking at getting Monroe. Just want to double check everything before hand.

The years to use are 91-95 rear MR2 strut inserts?

    They are 2" shorter?

Will cutting a inch out be good enough?

After cutting a inch I will need a 1 inch spacer?

The strut bears are larger and will need the bearing 6302-2RSJ?

Any thing else I should know?

I just want to double check everything before I jump in. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

for spacers, you want to make them the difference in size for the length differences... with my AGX mr2 inserts it ended up being about 2.75" (originally did 3.25", but chopped some to fit better)

^check my thread for the rest

so you left your shocks factory length and just spaced the under side of them? why not section the shock housing?

also are they upper shock section of the mr2 struts shorter then the e30 ones?
im talking about the chromed shaft that rises from the housing here. not too sure how to best explain it.
im aware the body of the shock is shorter in mr2. is the upper shaft also shorter?

        thanks, leigh.
