Lowering E30: Using shorter rear shocks?

Ok guys, this could be a noob question but, im doing my research and ive determined that for good lows ill be using:
    • G60 or IX billies (sport or HD dependant on rates)
    • GC coilover
    • matching shortend strut housings

But ive never read anything about using different rear shocks when having the car lowered. Obviously id use matching shocks to the front but will stock length ones do fine with the GC coils (may ditch rear adjusters depending how it sits). The reason im concerned about rear lows is that i have high early model arches to fill..

SO, is there any shortened shocks that are preferable to use in the rear on a low car?? or will stock length be fine?

You can use late 80's chevy camaro rear shock. Some work needs tobe done but will work and its cheaper.

As you can tell by the pic, yes they are. Also like I said, they are made for a heavier car. Thus being better in every way for a "more" lowered car than normal. I need to do this soon, i feel like my car is a little to low in the rear and my bill sports just arnt doin it. Theres write up, just need to search

We are using w124 shocks in the rear of our m62 e30. Great improvement. Much stiffer and shorter. Only modification that needs to be done is to drill out the lower mounting hole. done!
