How much can you cut your stock springs before it becomes a problem?

So being very unemployed teaches you to find rather cheap ways to get what you want, so I cut my stock front springs about 2-3" instead of $2000 coil overs that I really want and it looks like this but for my taste I need it lower (sorry for the grainy phone pics) so how much more can I cut them?

cutting springs without appropriate shocks will kill the shocks and ride like crap. it is simple as that.

if you cut them any more, you will probably bottom out and end up riding on bump stops. Just all round horrible really. but for looks, it will look how you want probably.

if it were me i would be patient and hope some springs come up cheap locally but if not then i doubt i'd go much lower than that.

the fact is to get very low you need coilovers or shortened shock housings with short shocks and then adjustable coilover springs.

you should be albe to get BCs for $1k rather than $2k
