    H&R Race Gruppe G on 1991 318is

    Hey Guys,
I have an amateur question for you. I just recently purchased some H&R race Gruppe G or Group G. The guy I bought them off seems knowledgeable but I just want to make sure I'm in a good place. I installed them and the car rides amazing but there is a fairly noticeable reverse rake. The guy who I purschased them from his theory is that since the springs were made for a car with a bigger engine that is why I'm getting the rake. Also, I should note that prior to this I was riding all stock and the car had a similar effect already. #1 (This is the amateur question) The blue (shorter) springs should be in the rear, correct? #2 I will be doing wheels and tires soon. I am currently riding oem 14inch baskets. Assuming the install is fine do you recommend using drop hats to lower the front or raising the rear somehow? Thanks!

Oh yeah, I am running bilstein sports. The shocks are in excellent condition.

      He's right.
318is' are lighter and thus have reverse rake with those springs.
Drop hats can lower the front 10mm or so(e90 ones).
Add spring pads to the rear to bring it up.

I'll trade you normal race springs so you can correct that rake ;)

Seriously though if you find those rear springs not working for you I will buy them off of you.
