    Rear bounce/fenders

Hey everyone I have had an issue with one side (maybe both) rear fenders hitting the tires when going over speed bumps/etc... I have new reinforced RSMs plus the metal shock mounting reinforcement plates. My set up is Bav auto springs and bilstein sports. the rear tires are 205/55/R16. Basically should I be able to clear that size tire on non rolled/pulled fenders? I tried the baseball bat fender rolling technique but I still get a terrible scraping noise when going over bumps coming from the tire/fender. are there any rear suspension components that might be failing or do I need to work on modifying my fenders more? I tried searching but couldn't really find something conclusive. Thanks in advance for advice.

Firstly, what is the offset of the wheels you are using, and are you using a spacer as well?

Second, that tire is one size too tall. 205/50-16 is the right size.

Alrighty. I believe they are +15. Will have to double check tomorrow. no spacers.

Im running a +15 wheel offset plus a 5mm spacer with my borbets on a 215/40/16 and i rub every now and then. Its not to terrible when im alone but when there is a passenger it obviously rubs more. i still have room to roll the inner lip of my fender more.

Try seeing exactly where it rubs on the fender. I just had someone bounce up and down in my trunk and see where it rubs. You can also clean the inner lip of the fender, drive a little bit, and see where the tire left some rubber.

I also think your tire size may be to tall. Some slight tire stretch might help too.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

Yeah I actually do have to say no to hella fat chicks. One time I have 6 people in my car and the fender was practically all the way down to the wheel. Thanks for the advice. will try to find exactly where its rubbing.

As said above, tires are a size too tall. I'd recommend rolling your fenders or having them rolled.
