    ground control D perch?

i just got my kit from GC and i notice the perch that came with the kit are suppose to have a cut, looking like a D but mine are round. will there be a problem if i just weld it like this to the housing? also on the instruction it says to place the flat side of the D towards the tire. did they send me a wrong one or do i have to cut it myself? their picture displaying the kit show a D perch too.

what are all these o-rings for? i know some are for the front housing.

You're fine. Unless you have some sort of tire and wheel compromisation that will hit, which I doubt since you'd hit the collar adjuster regardless of what perch you use.

I didn't even use a perch for mine. Stock perch with 360' supporting welds.

thanks for the info, it should be good without a weld then.

I just got mine in too, and they did have a D ring for each shock housing, but it doesnt matter much unless you have a really wide wheel

The D rings are intended for cars with wide rims which require the clearance.
When we get backordered on the D rings, we send the others unless the D rings are specifically requested.

If any of you received the standard weld rings, and would like D rings instead, give me a call or PM me and I'll send a pair out for you.

i got the d's with mine. but youd have mega wide rims before you have to start worring about them. mine have about 3 miles between my wheels.

              Yep.

And if necessary, you can make round ones "Ds", but you can't make "Ds" round.;)
